Bruno Fernandes says the current malaise at Manchester United is “not OK” and any player who thinks it is should move on.
United slumped to a dismal 3-1 defeat at home to Brighton yesterday, their sixth loss in their last nine league games, after which manager Ruben Amorim admitted they were perhaps the “worst team in Manchester United’s history”.
Amorim’s side were once again without a rudder and captain Fernandes is demanding that the players sort it out, and quickly.
He told Sky Sports: “I understand the outside perspective. But we can’t be comfortable thinking that this is okay. Is not.
“I’m not here to lose games and be in the position we’re in right now. But I know that nobody in this dressing room is, and if somebody is, they can’t be here.”

Brighton’s win continued their dominance at United. The Seagulls have now won six of their last seven meetings, including all three at Old Trafford, not that Portugal midfielder Fernandes was concerned.
He added: “It doesn’t matter to me. It’s another loss for us. It doesn’t matter how many times they’ve won against us.
“I remember in the past where they haven’t won a game here. This isn’t going to change anything.
“The main thing that changes for us is that we didn’t get the three points today. Congratulations to them, they played a good game and deservedly won the game.”
United have a chance to bounce back on Thursday night when they host Rangers in the Europa League. The next league game comes next Sunday at Fulham.
