Well Matty Healy willing to consider his relationship with Taylor Swift in his new music?
On Sunday, January 19, the 1975 singer shared a cryptic reaction to a recent report in The sun newspaper that he will sing for short-lived romance on the band’s next album.
According to the UK outlet, Healy recorded a song with the lyrics “Keep your head up princess, your tiara’s falling down,” which the paper said, citing a source, appeared to be about Swift, 35. (Us Weekly failed to verify The sunreport independently.)
“Huge if true,” commented Healy, also 35, in a post on 1975 Reddit group using his verified account, which he often uses to interact with fans.
While Healy’s remark is neither a confirmation nor a denial, fans of the 1975 subreddit have pointed out that the alleged texts reported by The sun align with an Instagram caption Healy shared in February 2021. “Keep your head up princess your tiara is falling 💫🌸👑,” he wrote along with photos of him wearing a balaclava in a recording studio.
Swift and Healy were first romantically linked in 2014. They met briefly in 2023. after the two weeks the singer broke up with the British actor Joe Alwyn in April of the same year. In January 2023 Swift surprised fans at The 1975’s concert at The O2 in London by joining the band on stage for an acoustic version of her song ‘Anti-Hero’. Months later, in May, Hilly appeared on the scene during Swift Eras Tourperforming with an opening act Phoebe Bridgers.
In October 2022 Healy also confirmed that he has been “working a little bit” on Swift’s 10th studio album, midnightbut that “version never came out,” he said in an interview with Audacy. “It was for reasons beyond criticism. She is amazing.”
