ON FOX FIRST: A coalition of aggressive immigration groupsahead of the inauguration of newly elected President Trump, Republicans in Congress and officials in the new Trump administration are urging them to make good on their promises to launch a mass deportation operation – urging them to not to compromise or compromise on important issues, and to use the coming reconciliation process to translate these promises into action.
“The undersigned organizations and individuals write to express our support and commitment in fulfilling the promises you have made to the American people,” the coalition said.
The ten groups include Heritage Action for America, NumbersUSA, the National Immigration Center for Enforcement and the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR). In their letter, obtained by Fox News Digital, they warn that work must begin immediately.

“Because of the constraints on Congressional calendars, the threat of lawsuits from open-borders zealots, the slow pace of rulemaking, and the complexity of the promised law enforcement operations, the work must begin immediately and in earnest,” they say.
‘Mass deportations and secure borders are not only the cornerstones of… public safety and national security“But the most important thing is that they are not a bargaining chip for other policies or other political priorities.”

Trump has promised to launch a “historic” deportation operation and provide additional border security. Many Republicans in Congress had weighed in on these issues, and polls showed that many Americans saw illegal immigration as a top problem.
The groups note that the Republican Party’s 2023 border bill, which they repeatedly urged lawmakers to adopt, included a number of sweeping measures to secure the border and limit migrants’ ability to seek asylum. But they now say the bill is a “floor, not a ceiling” and are urging the new administration and Congress to move forward, first with a funding package through the budget reconciliation process.

“Now, with unified control of the government and a critical opening, we also stand ready to help you put together a bold reconciliation package that reflects President Trump’s commitment to the American people, and the very laws that our nation govern and protect,” they say.
Their recommendations for the reconciliation package include additional resources to allow for “millions of deportations,” closing immigration loopholes, reducing funding for nonprofits and “prioritizing the American worker over foreign workers.”
They also warn lawmakers: “NO amnesty of any kind. (If you have to say it’s not there, then it is.)”

“It is time to bring order to our immigration system and restore fidelity to the rule of law. The American people are waiting,” they say.
Rosemary Jenks, law enforcement director of the Immigration and Accountability Project, said Congress “must act immediately to provide the resources, including ICE ERO agents and detention beds, that President Trump needs to carry out the mass deportations needed to undo damage done by the Biden administration.”

reported Vos On Friday, the new government announced that it plans to start mass immigration arrests from day one.
“What we’re telling ICE is you’re going to enforce immigration law without apology,” Border Czar Tom Homan told Jesse Watters Tonight. “You’re going to focus on the worst threats first, the threats to public safety first, but no one is off the table. If they are in the country illegally, they have a problem.”
