Brittany, 29, attended the Kansas City Chiefs’ divisional playoff game against the Houston Texans on Saturday, January 18, less than a week after gives birth to the couple’s third baby. She was spotted kissing her husband Patrick, also 29, before the game, wearing a camel-coloured down coat with the number 15 emblazoned on the pockets.
Meanwhile, Patrick took the field with his teammates at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., for the Chiefs’ first playoff game of the 2024-2025 NFL postseason. The team earned the No. 1 seed in the AFC, earning a bye week during the wild card round the previous weekend.
Patrick’s break coincided with the birth of his and Brittany’s third baby. The couple, who are also parents to daughter Sterling, 3, and son Bronze, 2, announced via Instagram on Monday, January 13 that their daughter Zlatna was born the day before.
“•Golden Raye Mahomes• 1/12/25🎀✨,” they captioned a joint post of their newborn’s feet.
After the Chiefs won their bye week, Patrick told reporters that he promised to secure the advantage so the couple can focus on welcoming their newest addition.
“I told my pregnant wife that I was going to get seed number 1 so we could have this baby,” he said in December 2024.
At the time, Patrick revealed that Brittany was due to give birth “any day now.”
“Brittany says I’ve stressed her out too much this season,” he shared. “So I have to try not to stress her out so much during these football games – and say goodbye.”
Patrick added: “Hopefully God works the right way and we can have this baby sometime in the bye week. Then everything will be perfect.”
Patrick also hinted that Brittany will be supporting him after the season despite her full array of responsibilities.
“MVP because she’s going to come in (in the playoffs) and crush it,” he said. “We’re going to have three babies and I can take a long time off and just focus on football and raising these babies.”
Earlier this month, Patrick revealed that he had succeeded prepare for the playoffs while he and Brittany were expecting the birth of their toddler.
“It was great that football was on TV when I was in the hospital so I got to watch a bit,” he told a news conference. “Brittany was kind enough to let us watch football while she was getting ready to give birth to our second daughter.”
