The Kansas City Chiefs gave a small nod to the Mahomes family and their newest addition before the team’s first NFL playoff game of the season.
“QB1 looks golden,” Chiefs published on X on Saturday, January 18. The post includes a video of the starting quarterback Patrick Mahomes arriving at Arrowhead Stadium as the team prepares to face the Houston Texans in the divisional round of the playoffs.
patrick’s wife Brittany Mahomesresponded to the sweet tribute by resharing the OG post in it Instagram story while writing “The Caption” along with a big-eyed and an ugly crying emoji.
Earlier this week, on Monday, January 13, Patrick and Brittany announced the birth of their third child. The couple also shared her unique name.

The couple, who tied the knot in March 2022, are already parents to daughter Sterling and son Bronze, who arrived in February 2021 respectively. and November 2022.
A host of celebrities quickly took to the comments section to congratulate the couple, including Travis Kelcegirlfriend of Taylor Swiftwho “liked” the post.
“Uncle Jack loves her so much already,” Patrick’s brother, Jack Mahomeswrote on her own Instagram story, reposting the couple’s announcement photo to Swift’s song, “Daylight.”
“It was great meeting you today, dear Zlatna! I can’t wait for the memories to come! You have the BEST PARENTS EVER,” he continued in the post. “And the best uncle.”
Kelsey and Big Brother – and retired Philadelphia Eagles center – Jason Kells also congratulated the couple via the Instagram account of their podcast “Great Heights.”
The proud mom recently gave fans an inside look at Golden’s nursery via Instagram a post shared on Thursday, January 16th.
“When I found out I was having a girl, my mind immediately went to the nursery,” she explained. “I really wanted to go very warm and pink with Golden’s nursery. And then obviously tying in the gold just to go with her name was really where we got the most inspiration from for her room.
While the Chiefs made it a point to herald Golden’s arrival as the team prepared for its first playoff game of the year, new mom Brittany was MIA (and understandably so, considering she just had a baby). Her BFF, Swift was in attendancehowever — the pop star arrived at the divisional playoff game wearing a chic black mini dress with a pearl belt by Chanel and a matching plaid jacket. She completed her look with a coordinating Chanel bag and her signature red lip.
Earlier this week, Kelce confirmed that Swift would be in the stands. “You know it, baby,” he said during the Monday, Jan. 13, episode of ESPN. The Pat McAfee Show. “You know it’s playoff football, man.”
Kelce also referenced one of Swift’s most popular lyrics while sharing his excitement for the game. “I feel fired up,” he noted. “Feeling 22 again baby. Let’s go.
