Getty Images (3)Awards season is upon us and Us Weekly reserves the date for the Oscars, Grammys and all major ceremonies for 2025.
First up are the Golden Globes and Critics’ Choice Awards in January, which share many nominees including Angelina Jolie (Maria), Demi Moore (The substance), Timothee Chalamet (Complete obscurity) and Cynthia Erivo (Wicked). Emilia Perezwith the participation of Zoe Saldana and Selena Gomezis among the most nominated films at both awards, scoring 10 nominations at the Globes and another 10 at the Critics Choice Awards.
This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to awards season. The SAG Awards, the Oscars and more will honor movies, while the Grammys will bring together the biggest names in music. Check out the dates, hosts and nominations details for 2025’s biggest awards below:
January 5: Golden Globe Awards

In response to the Los Angeles wildfires, the Recording Academy sent a message to members on Jan. 13 that the Grammys would be a fundraising effort. “In close coordination with local authorities to ensure public safety and the responsible use of area resources, the 67th Grammy Awards televised on CBS on February 2nd will proceed as planned,” the letter said. “However, this year’s show will carry a renewed sense of purpose: raising additional funds to support wildfire relief efforts and honoring the courage and dedication of first responders who risk their lives to protect ours.”

Days before the Critics Choice Awards were set to take place on January 12, the ceremony was postponed to January 26 and then rescheduled to February 7 due to the ongoing fires in Los Angeles. “This unfolding tragedy has already had a profound impact on our community. All our thoughts and prayers are with those battling the devastating fires and with all those affected,” CEO Joey Berlin noted in a statement.
February 16: BAFTA Film Awards
After announcing it the cancer is officially in remission, Princess Kate Middleton expected to do so first appearance on the red carpet for over a year at the 2025 BAFTAs. (Prince William is president of the nonprofit arts organization.)
February 22: Film Independent Spirit Awards
