Traitors stars question whether Dylan’s brother Zac Efron is a ‘good actor’

Things got heated when The traitors the contestants came for Dylan Efronhis brother Zac Efron – and his acting skills.

During the latest episode, which premiered on Thursday, January 16, Dylan, 32, shouted Bob the Drag Queen at roundtable eviction meeting.

“I really think he’s a traitor. For example, which game is easier for a traitor? I would play a very quiet game because I can’t be violent,” he said. “What would Bob do? Bob is an amazing actor.”

Dylan use your experience with Zac, 35, adding: ‘I grew up with an actor.’ Without missing a beat, Bob, 39, replied: ‘Not good.’

The rest of the cast wasn’t thrilled with Bob’s dig at Zach. “That wasn’t nice” Dolores Catania remarked, before adding later in the episode, “Good job Dylan. And listen, your brother is a good actor.

Zac, 37, has been a big talking point on the competition show, despite not appearing yet. Before that, he rose to stardom after landing numerous television and film roles, including in 2006 High school musicalwhile Dylan spends more time behind the scenes as a producer and stuntman on various projects.

“I’ve been behind the camera. But being able to not stay backstage was a really nice change,” Dylan exclusively said Us Weekly in September 2023 about his plans to try something new. “So I think as long as I can wear all those hats and still make the stories I want to tell (that would be great). Being able to experience it first hand is really nice. It’s a good combination of both worlds.”

Dylan admitted then that he could not be seen to work by project by script.

“What Zac does, I could never do. I play myself on camera while Zach plays the characters. They are two different skill sets,” he added. “He can play different characters and I can only play myself.”

After working on the Netflix documentaries Down to Earth with ZachDylan praised his older brother set a good example on set.

“I like doing things with my brother. There’s something really comforting about being with family(s) doing these things. That will always be high in what I love to do. But I think it’s good to do things separately,” he continued. “Because I remember back in the day we wanted to do a show together and I really wouldn’t have been prepared for that. He’s been in front of the camera all his life and it’s second nature to him. I was a bit of a shy kid, so I had to grow into that.”

Dylan said he would be glad working with Zac on a project again in the future. “Now would be the right time,” he shared. “We are still thinking (what to do). We are in the process of thinking. We really want to just take a step back and see what stories we want to tell, how we can do it and have fun. We want to keep leveling it up.”

Before Dylan became a breakout star of The traitors season 3 zach fine showed support about his brother’s latest venture.

“I think Dylan’s going to win,” Zach said And! News in June 2024 “I hope he does because he’s so good at games. Always has been since we were kids. He’s like a game master. … If anyone can do that, it’s him. I support him.”
