Race for DNC chairman narrows after longshot candidate drops out, backs Ken Martin of Minnesota

The field to become the next chairman of the Democratic National Committee has narrowed after a long-awaited candidate dropped out endorsed Ken Martin, Chairman of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party.

Martin, a DNC vice chairman who has led the Democratic Party’s association of chairmen, is considered a front-runner for the DNC job.

Martin got a boost after New York State Senator James Skoufis withdrew from the race and endorsed him: Politico reported this Thursday morning.

Skoufis said in a statement to the newspaper that Martin “will refocus on what matters most to our party: expanding the map and rebuilding our once-great Democratic tent by seizing power outside the DC Beltway and kicking out the out-of-touch advisor.” class to the sidewalk.”

Martin told Fox News Digital last month that if he became chairman, the first thing he would do is “come up with a plan to win.”
