They may no longer compete against each other on the football field, but they do compete against each other’s rivalry Tom Brady and Eli Manning continues to hilariously rage after the latter poked fun at the former’s recent social media post.
Brady showed what he was doing over Thanksgiving weekend when he posted an Instagram carousel that included a shirtless photo from a battle he experienced at sea.
“A little warmer than it looked in Buffalo last night,” Brady captioned the post, referencing the snowstorm that blew through the Buffalo Bills.San Francisco 49ers match in Orchard Park, New York, on Sunday evening.

However, Brady’s shirtless photo was the subject of Manning’s X-post This had many up in arms when he posted his own fishing photo next to that of the New England Patriots legend.
“Cute roach, Tom!” Manning wrote, implying that the fish he caught was bigger and better.
Brady, who lost twice in his two Super Bowl meetings with Manning’s New York Giants, didn’t let him get away with it. So he responded via mail.
“Do you also use a helmet to catch that?” said Brady.
Of course, the reference is to David Tyree’s catch in Super Bowl XLII, where Manning threw a 32-yard desperation pass to Tyree, who needed his helmet to catch it through tight coverage.
The catch went down as one of the most important in NFL history as it extended the Super Bowl-winning drive, which was capped by a Manning touchdown against Plaxico Burress with seconds left in the fourth quarter.

The Giants, an NFC wild-card team that year, defeated the undefeated Patriots.
Then, these two teams faced off again in Super Bowl XLVI, where Brady’s Hail Mary at the end of the game did not have the same magic as Tyree’s catch, upsetting the Giants once again.
Now, Brady’s career is legendary and many consider him the best to ever play the game. But Manning is considered one of the best at crunch time at the quarterback position after his years with the Giants, and beating Brady in those two Super Bowls is a feat many can’t say they accomplished.
So these two have been making fun of each other since their playing days ended, but of course it’s all in good fun. Brady even brought it up recently on his Fox broadcast for the Giants-Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game.

While Brady is a shoo-in to make the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year on the ballot, Manning is currently in the process this year, with many debating whether he should receive a bronze bust in Canton, Ohio.
