Stephen Baldwinis limited Special forces was short but memorable – and we’re not just talking about his thin black headband.

Hailey BieberThe 58-year-old father of is the first star to walk out during the Wednesday, Jan. 8, premiere of the Fox show, which brings together celebrities from all genres as they try to pass training exercises led by a team of former special forces personnel. Season 3 is set in North Wales and features Steven, Bachelor Nation Trista Sutter and Ali Fedotovsky, Brody Jenner, Denise Richards and more.

“I am the youngest Baldwin brother. I’m a stage actor,” Stephen told the cameras. “I have trained twice with military technical advisors. Am I a special forces guy? No, but I played one on TV.

For the first task, the 16 celebrities had to jump from a speedboat to a speeding helicopter and board the helicopter – and Stephen was actually one of eight cast members to complete the challenge. Before the end of the episode, however, the actor became concerned that he had been injured and requested a medical consultation with the doctor on duty.

“I tore my meniscus on the helicopter today and my back is in knots and I can’t get my head out of there,” Stephen said, before the doctor asked him if he wanted to look at his knee.

Afterwards, things take a bit of a weird turn as Steven turns hostile. “It doesn’t really matter at this point,” Stephen said before asking the doctor, “Are you being paid to do this?”

“I’m curious — if right after this gig you had another one that was paying you 10 times what they’re paying you, you know, would you do it?” he continued. When the doctor replied that he wasn’t sure “where this conversation was going” because he thought Steven wanted medical advice, Steven stated that he needed to “make a decision.”

“Okay, what’s your decision?” asked the doctor.

“I have a concert right after. The only condition for this gig is that I don’t get injured. Not worth it to me. It’s not worth having to go to hospital for a couple of weeks,” Stephen said.

When the doctor asked if Stephen was aware of the type of tasks on the show, he replied, “Yes, but I didn’t know that I was definitely going to hurt myself.” Then Stephen looked heated and spoke louder, repeating twice, “I can’t hurt myself .”

When the Doctor filled out the ‘staff’ – aka the ex-special forces operatives who run the show – they said they thought Steven was looking for ‘justification’ and subsequently axed him from the show, saying: ‘No. 5, you failed this course and failed yourself. Go.

Stephen had previously spoken to Us Weekly about filming the show, noting that he had “multiple breaking points” during production.

“I had some challenges with asthma and it got very real, very quickly,” he said.
