Liverpool fans made their feelings known about Trent Alexander-Arnold’s condition during Wednesday night’s Carabao Cup semi-final clash with Tottenham Hotspur.
The right-back is out of contract at the end of the season and there is no indication that the England international will sign a new contract. Many expect the 26-year-old to leave the Premier League giants this summer as Real Madrid continue to pursue the full-back.

The full-back did not start in Liverpool’s Carabao Cup semi-final against Tottenham on Wednesday, but when he came on in the second half, the response from the away fans was interesting.

Alexander-Arnold came on for Conor Bradley on the hour mark and received a supportive reception from the Liverpool fans. THE away from home was calling the right back’s name as he entered the field: “The scuzzer in our team, it’s Alexander-Arnold,” sang the Reds fans.

This was a big change from the Manchester United game as it is clear that Liverpool fans are still hoping that the defender will stay beyond this season.
The next few weeks could be huge for the full-back’s future as a potential move to Real Madrid could be on the horizon.
