Butler and Gerber first sparked dating rumors in December 2021 after they were spotted attending a yoga class together. At the time, a source exclusively revealed to Us Weekly that the pair were dating, adding: “It’s still very new.”
Five months later, the couple reached an important milestone when they made their red carpet debut at 2022 Met Gala. Gerber celebrated the Gilded Age theme with a metallic Alexander McQueen dress Butler chose an all-black Prada suit for the big event.
The following year, a second source exclusively said us that Butler and Gerber were very “secure” in their relationship — and that her famous parents, Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawfordapprove the pairing.
In January 2025 news broke that the couple had split over the holidays.
