When asked about the biggest difference in his life from 20 years ago, Brody told the Well! Live from the red carpet, “Family, you know, gives you a very different perspective. … I don’t want to quantify it, but it’s a big change in perspective. But hopefully that means in another 20 years I’ll be back as everyone’s favorite grandfather’s boyfriend.”
Brody is a first time nominated for a Golden Globe. He is up for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for his role as Rabbi Noah Rocklov on the Netflix show Nobody wants that. As for the pair’s holiday plans, Brody revealed how they’re handling the festivities as a team.
“I don’t do it often, but I’m a good host, if I may say so myself,” he explained. “It’s usually a blur because I’m running around making sure everyone’s having a good time. But if we’re going to someone else’s, I like to think I make for a good conversation. My wife and I have a dynamic: I’ll be the one to get us there on time, but she’ll be the last to leave, long after I’ve started worrying about going home. So between us, we’re committed. We don’t just stop by for an hour: if you’ve got us, you’ve got us.”

“When you’re in public, there’s something very nice about seeing the person you’re with across the room talking to someone else,” he noted. “It’s a completely different perspective and ideally very lovely and flattering. In my case, it definitely is.”
