“So, I’m going to be a single mom soon. I’m in the middle of a divorce,” Jennifer said video shared via TikTok on December 10, 2024 “My husband is amazing though, really and truly … we work together. Everything is great.”
The 30-year-old TikTok personality she looked upbeat and happy as she recorded the video while driving through Mississippi.
“We split everything down the middle. It’s okay,” she said of her relationship with her estranged husband Brandon, 40 at the time. “It’s a very civil divorce with our daughter in mind.”
Jennifer admitted that since she was going to do it be a single income mom she turned to her network for advice on keeping costs low.
She noted that Brandon will “help” with the fees related to their daughter once the divorce is finalized. “He’s going to support her, so basically I’m really grateful for that and that I won’t have to worry so much about her support,” Jennifer continued.

Jennifer concluded: “If you have any advice I’d really appreciate it because I’m a bit scared right now.”
The positive message about her relationship with Brandon amid their divorce was shared 18 days before Jennifer and Brandon were found dead on December 28, 2024. in Brandon, Mississippi, around 7:19 a.m. local time. Authorities arrived on the scene after receiving a welfare check call from Jennifer’s family who reported signs of foul play.
The police chief reportedly told the publication that “it appears that Brandon Sheffield shot Jennifer Sheffield and then shot himself,” before adding that authorities are working on the theory that their deaths were the result of an apparent murder-suicide.
“This is an ongoing investigation,” French told an ABC affiliate WJTV in a statement dated December 28. “I would like to thank the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation for their cooperation with the Crime Scene Unit to help process the crime scene.”
Before her death, Jennifer documented her life as a mother in Mississippi focusing on entering medical school. She had more than 6,500 followers and over 100,000 likes on her more recent videos.
