Burnley have re-signed striker Ashley Barnes from Norwich on a contract until the end of the season.
The 35-year-old, who previously played for the Clarets between 2014 and 2023, rejoins Scott Parker’s side as they sit second in the Championship table.
He has already been promoted to the Premier League on three occasions.

“It feels fantastic to be back home,” Barnes told Burnley’s website.
“Burnley have been a huge part of my life for over a decade and I can’t wait to pull on the Claret shirt again.”
Barnes has scored 80 Premier League goals for the Lancashire club, with his best season coming in 2018-19 when he managed 12.
His long-term Clarets partner Chris Wood has enjoyed a renaissance at Nottingham Forest this season, scoring 11 times by Christmas.
Burnley face rivals Blackburn Rovers in Saturday’s first kick-off and can move level on points with leaders Leeds with a win.
“Ashley leaves with our best wishes and thanks for his contribution over the past 18 months,” said Norwich sporting director Ben Knapper.
