“We’re trying to start a family,” Kailyn, 29, said in a YouTube vlog posted on Thursday, January 2nd. “It’s on the vision board, which can be weird. I don’t know if that counts as a goal because we’re actively trying. It’s just harder to make a baby than I thought it would be.”
She added: “I know everyone says that, ‘No, I’ll get pregnant so easily.'” My mum got pregnant so quickly with all her children. I thought, “That’ll be me, too.”
According to Caelynn, she learned that “ovulation is hard.”

“I’m still figuring it all out,” he Bachelor in Paradise alum added. “I took Mira. I also finally went on AG in January but got this Mira (Fertility Tracker) device. So you turn on the tester, pee on a stick, and it tells you your (luteinizing hormone) LH levels. I peed on the other sticks that show lines and it was so hard. I thought, “When am I ovulating?” That, I’m still figuring it out.”
One of Caelynn’s friends used the same Mira device and got pregnant after a month.
“But that’s not the case for me,” she joked. “Should I share this?”
Caelynn, who was one of the Colton Underwoodfinal four contestants on season 23 of The Bachelor in 2019 met 33-year-old Dean on Bachelor in Paradise season 6. They left the show early to travel the world together in his camper. After three years together, Dean and Kailyn proposed.

By this point, they were both already wearing engagement rings.
“I am devoted to Caelynn and only Caelynn. And that’s why I’ve been carrying it for the last six months or so,” Dean said in a 2020 episode. I think it’s one of those comforting things where you can wake up in the morning and see your partner wearing that ring and be like, “Okay, yeah, they know I’m committed to them and vice versa.”
Caelynn in turn added that they were in a “a strong, committed relationship.”
“He started wearing a hair tie around his ring finger just to put women off,” she told the then-host Chris Harrison. “And I liked the idea. And then we just talked about getting rings. It’s just nice to know we’re in a strong, committed relationship without necessarily having to get the government involved, as Dean likes to say.
Dean and Kailyn tied the knot in September 2023, choosing to change their last names to Belle in honor of Dean’s late mother. (Belle was her maiden name.)
