Terry McLaurin’s fantastic showing for Week 16
For a while, it looked like the Kliff Kingsbury phenomenon would catch up Washington Governors in the second half of the season. After a stellar start led by rookie Jaden Daniels, the Chiefs’ offense has floundered, leading many to wonder if the league had already figured them out.
A 42-19 triumph over the Tennessee Titans in Week 13 put those ideas to bed, but a close 20-19 win over the New Orleans Saints once again brought up some old questions.
For his part, Terry McLaurin made a bit of history in that Week 15 win over New Orleans, becoming Washington’s first receiver with a double-digit touchdown season since Gary Clark (1991). McLaurin finished the night hauling in seven of his 10 targets for 73 yards and two touchdowns. This marked his second consecutive multi-scoring week, his fourth overall this season.
At this point, the volume is clearly there, and McLaurin is essentially resilient in this offense.
Keenan Allen’s fantastic Week 16 showing
A man who isn’t durable enough like Terry McLaurin Chicago Bears wide receiver Keenan Allen; The Bears take on the Detroit Lions this week, and even though the NFC’s top dogs have been dealing with a lot of injuries on defense, we’re not exactly excited about this matchup.
On Monday night, Allen rushed for a season-high 155 yards, marking his sixth triple-digit rushing performance of the year. However, Allen failed to impress in the Week 13 loss to the Lions.
It’s hard to bet on any Bears receiver at this point. Caleb Williams He also hasn’t shown signs of growth, while Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels have shouldered a lot of the offense when needed. The match is not good, the attack is weak. We suggest you stay away from Allen this week.

Sportskeeda’s Start/Sit Optimizer agrees, projecting a 12.7-point return for McLaurin with a decent touchdown shot.
