Ex-CNN anchor Don Lemon is on standby Calling Trump supporters ‘stupid idiots’ ‘butthurt’ critics say ‘too bad’.
At the beginning of being YouTube show Tuesday eveningLemon spoke about the backlash he received after calling MAGA supporters “stupid and stupid” in an expletive-filled rant days earlier.
Although he insisted he was responding to people who had a “racist” response to newly elected President Donald Trump appointment of Sriram Krishnan as a senior advisor on artificial intelligence, he continued to attack Trump supporters.

“So, as always, everyone gets criticized! I’m not talking about all Trump supporters,” Lemon said. “I talk to MAGA-brained people who will say and do anything to make excuses for any behavior that Donald Trump does, any bad behavior that the MAGA movement does.”
He continued, “So yeah, I stand by my words! And if you don’t like what I said, I don’t care!”
Lemon also denounced the “hypocrisy” of Trump supporters who attacked him for his language while defending their “cult leader.”
“This is how confused you are. You expect higher from me, an independent journalist, a former cable news host, than from the person sitting in the Oval Office. Because his mouth is worse than mine,” Lemon said .

He added: “He calls everyone stupid. He calls black women stupid. He calls me stupid. He calls people stupid. He calls Kamala Harris stupid. He calls her names. And he uses profanity against athletes. He called them sons of b- –he. He calls people out by name all the time. And you love it. But when someone tells the truth about you, it hurts!
In his original video, Lemon called out supporters of President-elect Donald Trump “stupid idiots” and mock their “stupid MAGA brains.”

“You’re so damn stupid and you deserve it. You deserve it for being so stupid,” he said. “Yes, I rejoice in your stupidity.”

“You’ve been co-opted because you’re in a damn cult and you don’t even realize it because you have a stupid MAGA brain, and you don’t understand it,” he added. “How stupid and stupid are you?”
