Team USA is going against each other with Canada in the 4 Nations face-off final This week creating a rematch of the recent intense game between the two North American countries created.
During the last matchup, Multiple Fighting Broke out within a few seconds.
The Round-Robin part of the tournament resulted in some injury setbacks for the Americans, with Brady Tkachuk in the second period after a collision with Samuel Erson van Sweden in the fold.

Meanwhile Auston Matthews and Charlie Mcavoy were line -up scratches. Mcavoy was taken to a hospital with what was described as a “upper body injury”, the Boston Bruins, the NHL club of the defender, announced on Tuesday.

He was not on the ice on Monday. Team USA coach Mike Sullivan noted at the time that the defender fought against an ‘upper body injury’.

Mcavoy had been an active part of the game plan of the Americans prior to the injury. He was on the ice for just under 20 minutes during the victory of Team USA at Finland on February 13. He also registered 19:27 of playing time during the matchup with Canada last weekend.

An “upper body injury” seemed to prevent Mcavoy from taking the ice in some matches prior to the tournament. However, he played in the game of a brown on January 30. The 27-year-old underwent shoulder arterroscopic stabilization surgery in 2022, NBC reported.
Team USA will perform against Canada in the 4 Nations Face-Off final on 20 February.
